We are pleased to announce that ThoughtFocus is sponsoring the Hawaii Digital Government Summit, to be held at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Honolulu on the 16th of December 2014. Visit our booth to learn how ThoughtFocus is helping spur innovation in the public sector and how we promote innovation and best practices in the government and other public sectors.
With the theme “Transformation in Action,” the third annual Hawaii Digital Government Summit hopes to bring together more than 650 local, state, and federal employees. The conference will cover areas like Innovation and Leadership, Emerging Technologies, Digital Government Trends, Mobility and Citizen Engagement, Big Data and Analytics, Shared Services, and Collaboration.
State CIO Keone Kali will provide the opening remarks, highlighting the state’s progress and the transformational effort from planning to implementation. He plans to underscore the need to leverage lessons learned and adopt widespread cultural change. Optimistic about improvements thus far, he commented, “we’re beginning to see things happen.”
The daylong conference features breakout sessions in three tracks – Technology Transformation, Business Transformation, and Transparency and Accountability – on topics ranging from Hawaii’s IT workforce and cloud therapy to disaster recovery and broadband. The summit will conclude with three fast track sessions on eHawaii.gov, open data, and embracing change—all of which will be free and open to the public.
Transform Hawaii Government will be represented in the Citizen Engagement and Connect Government panel, along with representatives from Maui County and the private sector.
We invite you to be a part of the conference and also visit our booth to learn more about ThoughtFocus services and solutions.
